Parallel Computing with MATLAB Hands-On Workshop
Tuesday, 8. February 2022 ► 14:00 - 17:00
*UPDATE*: As announce to all attendees this course was moved to 08.02.2022
This workshop will focus on speeding up MATLAB on the desktop with Parallel Computing Toolbox. We will be using MATLAB Online (MATLAB in a browser); you will not need to have MATLAB installed on your desktop.
Highlights include:
- Speeding up programs with parallel computing
- Working with large data sets
- GPU computing
Overview:
During this self-paced, hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to parallel and GPU computing in MATLAB for speeding up your application and offloading computations. By working through common scenarios and workflows, you will gain an understanding of the parallel constructs in MATLAB, their capabilities, and some of the issues that may arise when using them.
Requirements:
- Basic working knowledge of MATLAB
- A supported browser https://www.mathworks.com/support/requirements/browser-requirements.html
- A MathWorks Account. If you do not already have a MathWorks Account, please go to https://www.mathworks.com/login to create one.
As a precursor, please watch the following 30-minute video for an introduction on key MATLAB parallel computing concepts:
