Subscribing to an RSS Feed in Outlook – Step-By-Step Instructions

Integrating the RSS feed into Microsoft Outlook can be done in just a few steps:

  1. Open your email client, e.g., Outlook.
  2. Click on “File,” then on “Account Settings” and again on “Account Settings.”
  3. The “Account Settings” window opens. Click on the “RSS Feeds” tab.
  4. Click on “New” (*) in the “RSS Feeds” window.
  5. Insert the path of the RSS feed.
  6. Enter the feed address as the name: https://blog.rwth-aachen.de/forschungsdaten/feed/.
  7. Click on “Add.”

(After adding, another window will open where you can set the RSS feed options.

(*): “RSS Feeds” or “RSS Subscriptions” (depending on the Outlook version)).

New RDM blog posts will now appear automatically in Outlook, keeping you up to date with the latest content.
