Nicht mehr lange – dann treffen sich Stewards, Data Experts, Data Curators und alle am Thema FDM Interessierten in Aachen zum dritten Data Stewardship goes Germany Workshop 2024. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Beteiligten selbst und ihre Netzwerke im Bereich Data Stewardship. Aber nicht nur der zweitägige Workshop, sondern auch die beiden zusätzlichen Schulungen im Rahmen des Data Stewardship goes Germany (DSgG) laden dazu ein, den Spätsommer in Aachen zu verbringen. In the second part of the blog series “Effective Data Sharing With Coscine“, we used the Coscine API to create a list of download links to research data in a resource. This list was converted into a structured markup format for better presentation and you learned about various options for displaying certain file types. In the third part, you will now learn how to build on this and create a web page to present your data. We will use the free services of GitHub or optionally GitLab to create and host a static website.

Open Meeting of the RDM Network in June 2024

On June 12, 2024, the open meeting of the RDM network at RWTH Aachen University on the topic of “Publication – Open Access and Data Publication” took place online via Zoom again. After the last RDM network meeting, which took place as a face-to-face event at the University Library of RWTH Aachen University, the RDM team of RWTH Data Stewards invited doctoral students, postdocs and those interested in RDM to the virtual open meeting of the RDM.

Workshop on the Management of Research Data (RDM II-Compact)

Research data management (RDM) is an essential part of modern science and research. In order to optimally prepare researchers at RWTH Aachen University for the challenges of handling research data, we offer the RDM II compact workshop once a year. This one-day hands-on workshop takes place on site at the University Library and is aimed at anyone who would like to deepen their knowledge of research data management.

This year’s Data Stewardship goes Germany (DSgG) workshop will take place at RWTH Aachen University on September 11 and 12, 2024. After Braunschweig and Dresden, this year’s workshop, organized by the Research Data Management working group at TU9, will take place in the imperial city of Aachen. Submit your contribution by June 10, 2024 and secure one of the coveted places.
