All good things come in three. We continue with the follow-up report on the afternoon program of the Research Data Day 2022 held at the RWTH Aachen University. Just as last year, researchers from all over North Rhine-Westphalia were allowed to get a taste of the Coscine workshop and ask their questions about the platform for research data management. On November 15, 2022 the Research Data Day in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) will be held for the second time. This time, the motto of the event is “Lighthouse RDM: Orientation in the data sea“.
On this day, events on research data management (RDM) will be held throughout NRW and various universities will present their RDM offerings. The complete programme can be found on the website of the State Initiative for Research Data Management – fdm.nrw.
Follow-up Report on the Open Meeting of the RDM Network on September 14, 2022

The wait has come to an end and the monthly RDM network meeting is back! After the summer break, data stewards, RDM managers and RDM interested parties from RWTH Aachen University came together again online via Zoom on September 14, 2022. This time, the participants learned about the RDM platform Coscine developed at RWTH and its functions.

Three years ago, we provided insights into our RDM statistics on the RDM blog, and in the blog post RDM Statistics: 891 PIDs, we showed how the number of Persistent Identifiers had developed over the last few years up to 2018 at RWTH Aachen University.
