Change of Opening Hours at the IT Center

The Christmas holidays and the new year are approaching. Therefore, the opening hours of the IT Center will be changed.

Due to an internal event, opening hours will be restricted on Friday December 17, 2021. The IT-ServiceDesk will close at 3 pm This means that appointments for the DFN certificate acceptance will only be possible until 3 pm.

In the week before Christmas, from December 20 to 23, 2021 , the IT Center will be open as usual. Christmas Eve is completely closed.

In the period from December 27, 2021 to January 7, 2022, the IT-ServiceDesk will be available at the following times:

  • You can reach us by phone from 8 am to 4 pm on the phonenumber +49 241 80 24680
  • You can contact us via chat from 8 am to 4 pm via the “Chat Support” button. You can find this button in the documentation portal, on RWTHmoodle or in the RWTHApp (Facilities -> IT-ServiceDesk).
  • Of course, you can also contact us at any time by e-mail at servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de.
  • Personal appointments for the submission of DFN certificate applications can be arranged from 8:15 am
  • As of Monday, January 10, 2022, we will be open again at our usual opening hours.
  • Instructions on how to use and install our services can be found on IT Center Help.

The InfoPoint will be open as usual from 8am to 4pm

The VR Lab will be closed from December 20, 2021 to January 7, 2022.

The MATSE administration will be closed from December 22, 2021 to January 4, 2022.

Please remember the applicable 3G regulation when visiting the IT Centre. We will check the relevant proofs.
