From August 26 to 28, 2025, the second Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (CoRDI) will take place at RWTH Aachen University. The conference brings together experts from science, infrastructure, and the community to discuss key issues and the future of research data management (RDM). The conference is organized by the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) in cooperation with RWTH.
In the C.A.R.L. lecture hall center, participants can expect a varied program with eight thematic focal points that highlight both disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. In addition to specialist presentations and discussions, a “market of opportunities” will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas about projects, tools, and initiatives.
Registration for CoRDI 2025 will open shortly. All information about the program and registration will be available soon on the official NFDI event page.
We look forward to welcoming you to Aachen in August 2025!
Follow-up Report on the First CoRDI – Conference on Research Data Infrastructure
For the first time, the “Conference on Research Data Infrastructure” took place in Karlsruhe from 12 to 14 September 2023. The conference was organised by the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) Association in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and brought together national and international experts from various research fields and research data management infrastructures under the motto “Connecting Communities”. With numerous scientific talks, discussions, guest lectures, poster presentations and networking opportunities, the event focused on the comprehensive use of research data.
