Next Monday, 16.12.2019, we say goodbye to CAMPUS-Office of the RWTH. The former campus management system for planning studies and teaching will be finally switched off this weekend. Its functions have been replaced by RWTHonline since the winter semester 2018. What this means for you and what you should do before we say “Bye-bye CAMPUS-Office” on Monday, you will find out in this article.

Some of us still remember CAMPUS-Office as part of the campus management system that accompanied us through many semesters. As students, we planned our timetables in CAMPUS-Office, registered our examinations and term papers, and waited eagerly for the publication of the examination results in the Virtual Central Examination Office (VZPA).
But, also important documents could be easily retrieved via CAMPUS-Office: Study certificates, information on how to transfer the semester fee and much more was available via CAMPUS-Office.

The web-based curriculum planner, which has been in operation at RWTH Aachen University since the winter semester 2001/2002, was gradually replaced by RWTHonline since winter 2018/2019. Now it is in its final stages.
Attention: Your data from CAMPUS-Office will leave as well!
As we already informed you in our e-mail on 13.11.2019, the deactivation on 15.12.2019 also means that stored data and documents will be deleted from CAMPUS-Office.
If not already done, use the time until then to save your data, documents, contact data and notes. You still have a lot of data to back up in the future and don’t know where? Then you can fall back on the reliable and resilient university cloud service “sciebo“.
Don’t worry: just because CAMPUS-Office is retiring doesn’t mean you have to do without its functions. All functions that are important for your studies are already available via RWTHonline. There you can also download your study certificates, create timetables and everything else you need to successfully organize your studies.
Lectures and courses of previous semesters until summer semester 2018 can still be found on the general CAMPUS pages until further notice.
By the way, you can easily and conveniently access all of the above applications via the My IT Center Portal.
