RWTHmoodle at the “RWTHtransparent 2020” – a Look into the Future

February 3rd, 2020 | by

Last Friday the RWTH Aachen University invited to its annual event RWTHtransparent. In addition to a review of the past year’s successes, the RWTHtransparent also gave its guests a look at future developments at the university. The various information stands provided information about the diverse range of services for teaching and about current research projects.

As the central teaching and learning platform of the RWTH, RWTHmoodle was of course also represented with a booth this year. After the successful introduction of the platform in 2019, the IT Center and the Learning Platform Management of CLS focused this year on the use of existing and new features in RWTHmoodle. The guests were interested in the new possibilities that plug-ins such as Stack or the Virtual Programming Lab offer. Beyond this, the conversations were also informative for the team around RWTHmoodle: Besides general positive feedback, it became clear that the correct didactic use of the teaching and learning platform is an important issue for students and employees. We are still working on giving the lecturers the necessary knowledge for designing their course rooms in an optimal way.

You also have feedback on RWTHmoodle? So you do not have to wait for the next RWTHtransparent, but you can send us your feedback at any time by email to servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de. We are looking forward to your constructive critique and valuable suggestions to improve RWTHmoodle continuously.
