Since May 14th, 2020, the personal acceptance point for DFN certificate applications is open. Here you can come by personally and submit your certificate applications quickly and easily – no matter whether you have an application fo a user, group or server certificate. You will find the personal acceptance point at the IT Center Seffenter Weg 23, at the upper entrance.
Application printed out, appointment booked, hygiene rules observed? Then you can start!

What is to be considered?
In order to ensure the best possible protection for you and for our employees, the following points should be observed when visiting the IT Center:
1. book an appointment: Access to the building and thus the submission of a DFN certificate application is only possible after booking an appointment in advance. Currently we offer appointments from Tuesday to Thursday between 08:00 am and 03:00 pm.
2. Observe hygiene rules: Together it works best! Therefore, hygiene rules also apply in our premises.wear a mouth and nose protector within the entire building.Desinfiziert Your hands after you have entered the house, i.e. before you meet our employees.please keep a safety distance of at least 2 meters.we give you a smile, but do not shake hands.pay attention to the distance line on the floor.
3. What do you need to bring with you?
- an official, valid photo identification, for example an identity card or passport
- the completed and signed certificate application as a printout
- your mouth and nose protection
- a mobile phone to be granted access to the building on site
Here’s how it works:
Apply for your DFN certificate, you will find useful tips and instructions on IT Center Help.
Then book an appointment and please be on time. To gain access to the building, please call the telephone number of the reception desk: 0241 / 80-29937.
Put on the mouth and nose protection. After the employee has opened the door for you, enter the building and disinfect your hands. Then hand in the signed application form and present your official and valid identity card. Then step behind the distance line on the floor. Now the application will be checked by the employee. This only takes a few minutes. You will then receive your identity card back.
Done! Now please leave the building directly.
