After several overtimes, surprising results and the farewell of our national coach Jogi Löw, the quarter-final opponents are now known, and the final is already within reach.
Even though the German team was already eliminated from the tournament on Tuesday, we are still looking forward to the exciting matches in the quarter-finals today and tomorrow!
The IT Center EM 2021 Riddle enters the sixth round – Riddle No.6
What would football be like without what is called “the 12th man” in Germany? Neither coach nor sponsor support the team quite as much as their own supporters!
The statistics confirm this. Home games are more often won, as the team is supported by a larger number of fans during these games. When playing away games, supporters will of course be present aswell. However, the home team will naturally have many more fans supporting them, which provides a lot more motivation and self-confidence. This is not only true for amateur teams, but also for professional teams. Even the league leaders tend to struggle winning away games and have a much easier time winning at home. Fans thus play an essential role in the results and in the way the team performs.
At the IT Center we also have a team that supports all members of the RWTH. Whether it’s a forgotten password, problems with the VPN or missing access – the IT ServiceDesk is there to help you in word and deed!
