The Return of the IT-ServiceDesk

The wait is over. After two long years, on 01.08.2022 the time has finally come. The IT-ServiceDesk will once again be available for your questions and concerns at the locations* “Seffenter Weg 23” and “SuperC” with the full range of services.

Since change is always part of adjustment, not everything is exactly the same as it was two years ago. We have summarized for you which services we will be offering at our various locations from August 1, 2022, what the opening hours will be and which hygiene measures will apply.

 

 

Accessibility of the IT-ServiceDesk

You can reach the IT-Service Desk by phone, chat or e-mail at the following times:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 6 pm
Friday: 7:30 am – 4 pm & 4 – 6 pm only via E-Mail

Personal Support at the Seffenter Weg 23 

If you need our personal assistance with a service, it will be possible from 01.08.2022 during the following opening hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 6 pm
Friday: 7:30 am – 4 pm

You do not need an appointment for the following services:

  • Acceptance of DFN user certificates & DFN server certificates
  •  Sale of eBooks** on various topics such as software, operating systems & programming
  • General consulting (e.g. resetting and retrieving passwords). Assistance will be contactless if possible or we will accept the sanitized device.
  • Collection of reserved laptops from the Laptop-Rental-Pool

Students need an appointment for the following service:

  • Set-up and installations of end devices (e.g. WLAN, VPN, e-mail, selected software) as part of the Treffpunkt mobile Geräte (TreMoGe)

TreMoGe

 The TreMoGe serves as a central point of contact for anyone seeking help with setting up and using IT services on mobile devices. This includes, for example, software installations or setting up e-mail clients as well as the configuration of other basic IT services.


Service hours for Students:

Consultation hours are offered at the times listed below.

Depending on the scope of your request, you have the possibility to book time slots of 15 minutes or 60 minutes via the TreMoGe calendar:

Monday: 9:30 am – 1 pm
Tuesday: 1 pm – 4 pm
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 9 am – 12:30 pm
Friday: 12:30 pm – 4 pm

Service hours for employees:

Employees can simply drop in without an appointment during general business hours.

 


 

Personal Support at the SuperC 

Our IT-ServiceDesk at Templergraben 57 is open at the following times:

Monday: 7:30 am – 12 pm
Tuesday: 7:30 am – 12 pm
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 12 pm – 4 pm
Friday: 7:30 am – 12 pm

You do not need an appointment for the following services:

  • Acceptance of DFN user certificates & DFN server certificates (ZHV-employees contact the ZHV Helpdesk)
  • General consulting (e.g. resetting and retrieving passwords). Assistance will be contactless if possible or we will accept the sanitized device

 


 

What Else Should Be Considered?

* The location at Wendlingweg 10 remains closed.
** The sale of CDs and manuals in printed form has been discontinued.
