In the fourth and last quarter of 2022, shortcuts, tutorials, tips and tricks from the IT sector were once again a must on our social media accounts Facebook and Twitter.

But you should stop when it’s at its best, right? That’s why our #ITbites series is coming to an end at the end of the year. The last #ITbites are summarized here on our blog for you.

You missed the last lifehacks? Then take a look at our previous posts.

No. 1: Copy Outlook Appointment

You want to copy an appointment in Outlook?
No problem – click on the appointment with the left mouse button, hold down the CTRL key and drag the appointment to the new date with the left mouse button pressed.
This works even over longer periods of time – practical, isn’t it?

No. 2: Mouse Wheel Functions

Do you know that the mouse wheel can do more than just scroll up or down long web pages or documents?

  • Click with the mouse wheel on a link in the browser: Link opens in a new tab
  • Click with the mouse wheel on a tab in the browser: Tab is closed directly
  • Scroll with the mouse wheel and press the [Ctrl] button at the same time: Zoom in or out

No. 3: Back to the Desktop

This shortcut takes you directly to your desktop view – without minimizing all windows separately:

We hope you enjoyed the lifehacks from our series and discovered one or two tricks for you.
We wish you a happy new year and above all a fantastic start into the new year 2023!
