This semester, the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS) is offering the new digital exchange format “MoodleCafé” for the first time via Zoom, which focuses on a selected Moodle topic with best practice examples from RWTH teaching practice. This semester’s topics include the Moodle activities “StudentQuiz” and “Peer Review“.

The first MoodleCafé will take place on June 12 from 2pm to 3 pm and will focus on the collaborative StudentQuiz. This offers numerous didactic advantages by enabling students to create, answer and evaluate quiz questions together, while at the same time integrating gamification elements to increase motivation.

PD Dr. Malte Persike from CLS and Dr. Nils Lichtenberg from the Chair and Institute of Road Engineering will present their own application examples and experiences with the StudentQuiz and explain how it can be effectively integrated into a learning concept.

Our format is aimed at all interested lecturers and teaching assistants who are looking for new Moodle ideas for their teaching or would like to improve the use of the StudentQuiz. We offer you the opportunity to get to know the StudentQuiz and its possibilities better and to enter into a direct exchange with your colleagues!

The MoodleCafé takes place via Zoom. You can register via the event database. You will then be sent the access data to your e-mail address. To know more about new study offers and updates, read more under our category Studies & Teaching.
