Just in time for the start of the winter semester on October 1, 2025, the revised module manuals are available for students and employees in RWTHonline.
The new PDF files now contain further information: In addition to the previous content, there is now information on teaching and learning methods, the sustainability relevance of the module content, and contact details for the program organization.
The improvements were made possible by a new version of the “Module Manuals” application for employees, which was released on September 15, 2025.
The application has been comprehensively modernized in terms of technology and functionality: In addition to the new design, there are now improved search and filter options and significantly reduced loading times.
The application supports employees in the faculties, the Central University Administration, and the IT Center in maintaining and providing the module manuals in RWTHonline. This contributes to the smooth running of the degree program and module organization.
Following the successful go-live, initial feedback has already been received from users and is currently being evaluated in order to further optimize the application.
This update represents another step toward modernizing course and module management at RWTH Aachen University – a visible added value for students and staff alike.
You can find more information about module manuals in RWTHonline in the documentation portal (only accessible within the RWTH network).
