Another year is coming to an end, and the IT Center wishes all students, employees, and partners a relaxing holiday season and a successful start to the new year.
Our opening hours will be adjusted as follows during the Christmas period and at the beginning of the year.
The IT-ServiceDesk
From December 29, 2025, up to and including January 6, 2026, the IT-ServiceDesk will be available at the following times
- By phone: From 8am to 4pm via the number +49 241 80-24680
- By chat: From 8am to 4pm via the “Chat Support” button on the IT Center website, in the IT Center Help documentation portal, in RWTHmoodle
- By e-mail: At any time to servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de
Please note that the IT-ServiceDesk at the SuperC and Seffenter Weg 23 locations will be closed to the public during this period.
In the meantime, our documentation portal IT Center Help will be available around the clock. Here you will find numerous instructions on how to use and install our IT services.
Starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the IT-ServiceDesk will be open again during its regular hours.
Further Availability and Information
- The InfoPoint at Seffenter Weg 23 is completely closed from December 29, 2025 to January 1, 2026. It will open again as usual from January 2, 2026 from 8am to 4pm.
- MATSE Administration is unreachable from December 29, 2025to January 2, 2026. From January 5, 2026, the MATSE administration can be reached again during normal office hours.
- The VR laboratory will close on December 22, 2025, up to and including January 2, 2026.
- The Printing service remains closed starting December 22, 2025, until January 2, 2026.
