RWTHmoodle – Usage Survey Results

In the summer semester 2024, RWTHmoodle users once again had the opportunity to evaluate the system and the associated services such as training and support services.

The usage survey started on June 17, 2024. In total, around 36,300 people who actively used at least one course room in the summer semester 2024 were invited to take part in the RWTHmoodle usage survey. 1,750 users accepted this invitation.

 

First Insights into the Results

RWTHmoodle was rated using a school grading system from 1 (very good) to 6 (unsatisfactory). The overall rating shows that general satisfaction with the platform has increased compared to the previous year (average school grades: 2023: 2.48; 2024: 2.12). The reliability of RWTHmoodle was rated on a scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). There was a slightly positive trend in the evaluation of the reliability and availability of the system (mean value: 2023: 2.33; 2024: 2.19). The statement “Overall, RWTHmoodle is reliable” was also rated more positively compared to the previous year (mean: 2023: 3.51; 2024: 4.10).
