New Milestone Reached – RWTHgpt
It’s done: Since July 16, 2024, RWTH Aachen University has been one of the first universities in Germany to offer a new service – RWTHgpt. This makes RWTH one of the pioneers in the university-wide use of artificial intelligence. In this article, we introduce you to the new AI tool, which is being developed and made available by the IT Center in cooperation with the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS).
Innovative Learning: MoodleCafé begins
This semester, the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS) is offering the new digital exchange format “MoodleCafé” for the first time via Zoom, which focuses on a selected Moodle topic with best practice examples from RWTH teaching practice. This semester’s topics include the Moodle activities “StudentQuiz” and “Peer Review“.
The first MoodleCafé will take place on June 12 from 2pm to 3 pm and will focus on the collaborative StudentQuiz. This offers numerous didactic advantages by enabling students to create, answer and evaluate quiz questions together, while at the same time integrating gamification elements to increase motivation. Microsoft 365 for Students
On September 23, 2020, right on time for the start of the bridge courses at RWTH Aachen University, the Microsoft 365 service for students will be launched. Here we want to explain briefly the background, how it can be used and where help can be obtained in case of questions and problems.
