Love Data Week (LDW) is just around the corner and we’re ready to mix a dash of flirtation into your data love! From February 12 to 16, 2024, our #RDMPower will be in the spotlight as we participate in the exciting events of LDW under the motto “My Kind of Data”. Data Flirtation à la RWTH – Love Data Week 2024 in Sight!
Love Data Week is not only an international week of action around research data, but also an opportunity to explore and celebrate our unique relationship with data. As passionate data enthusiasts at RWTH Aachen University, we are using our #FDMPower to show you how exciting and important research data management is.
Love for Data Management Plans
Make yourself comfortable in front of your laptop, grab a delicious cup of coffee and off you go with the JARA Coffee Lecture on the topic of data management plans in cooperation with the Central Library of Forschungszentrum Jülich. Creating a data management plan (DMP) will help you to handle your research data in an even more structured way. One tool for this is the Research Data Management Organizer (RDMO), which will be presented to you online as part of Love Data Week on February 13, 2024 from 1pm to 1:20pm. Registration is not required. Further information on registration can be found on the pages of the University Library of RWTH Aachen University.
And that’s not all! Our love of data will also be on display at the next official open meeting of the RDM network on the Day of Love, February 14, 2024, online from 10am to 12noon. Two speakers will present further exciting information on DMPs as well as the latest developments on the RDMO tool, network and exchange ideas with you and answer your questions on structuring RDM. Please register to take part in the event.
Fair Data Is My Kind of Data – Coscine Introduces Itself!
Another highlight of our data flirt is the presentation “FAIR Data is my kind of Data – Coscine“! In this online presentation on February 16, 2024 from 11am to 12noon, we will reveal the secrets of the RDM platform Coscine. Learn how Coscine helps to store research data according to the FAIR principles. But that’s not all! We will not only give you an insight into existing features, but also take a look at exciting developments. Registration information can be found on the Coscine website.
