DKZ.2R Data Café: Your Data – Our Expertise

On Tuesday June 24, 2025, the Data Café of the Rhine-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Competence (DKZ.2R) will be held at the RWTH Aachen University Library. From 11am to 3 pm, researchers can discuss their research data questions with experts in Machine Learning, High-Performance Computing, and Research Data Management in a relaxed, free-of-charge atmosphere over coffee.

 

Who Is the Data Café for?

The Data Café is open to all scientists who work with data, including doctoral candidates, postdocs, and students. Do you need a second opinion on your data analysis? Would you like to find out which machine learning methods are suitable for your project? Would you like to optimize your FDM? At the Data Café, you will find straightforward, practical answers to your questions across disciplines without bureaucratic hurdles.

 

Following a Successful Launch in Cologne, the Data Café Is Now Also Available in Aachen!

The Data Café successfully launched at the University of Cologne on April 16, 2025. The low-threshold consultation format was very well received. Researchers particularly appreciated the direct and individualized interaction in a relaxed setting. Aachen is the next stop in the series, which will be offered at other locations in the region in the future.
