The first two days of the FDM workshop have already been reported on the RDM blog. On the third day of the FDM workshop, everything revolved around the FDM tools LiaScript, Datalad and Coscine. In December last year, we drew your attention to the RDM Toolbox 2024 with a Call for Participation. This took place from March 18 to 20, 2024 in the rooms of the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University in Kopernikusstraße.

In March of this year, we informed you in our article that RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZ Jülich) were involved in the conception phase of the Rhine-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Literacy (DKZ.2R). Today we would like to inform you that the conception phase has been completed and the DKZ.2R has been launched. Call for Participation – Second FDM-Werkstatt at RWTH

The official second RDM Toolbench will take place from 18 to 20 March 2024 at RWTH Aachen University! Take part in shaping the content of the community workshop and submit an abstract by January 15, 2024 to secure one of the coveted places!
Data Competence Center DKZ.2R – The IT Center Is Part of It

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the conception and subsequent establishment of data competence centers for science. Working with research data will continue to be a trend in the future, and for this the planned data competence centers are intended to provide relief for scientists by offering support and networking services. Together with Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University is involved in the conception phase of the data competence center “DKZ.2R”.
