Do You Already Know the PID Network Project?

In May, the virtual dialogue platform pid-network.de and the social media channels on Mastodon and Twitter went online to provide information on developments around the topic of persistent identifiers (PID). Behind this is the project PID Network Germany, which was launched in March and which we would like to introduce in our new blog post.

Follow-up Report on the RDM Network Meeting in March

On March 8, 2023, it was time once again: the data stewards, RDM officers and RDM interested parties at RWTH Aachen University met for the regular open meeting of the RDM network online via Zoom. The subject of the meeting was the TRUST principles and how they can improve the reuse of research data.

Last but not least folgt ein dritter und letzter Einblick in den Tag der Forschungsdaten (TdF), welcher am 16.11.2021 digital und NRW-weit stattfand. In diesem Beitrag möchten wir einen Einblick in die Vorträge der Informationsveranstaltung FDM@RWTH geben und noch etwas ausführlicher darstellen, was bereits im ersten Rückblick zur Sprache kam.
Nachbericht zum offenen FDM-Netzwerktreffen am 08. Juli
Am 08.07.2020 fand das fünfte offene Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM)- Netzwerktreffen zum Thema „Daten zur Publikation“ statt. Aufgrund der aktuell anhaltenden Situation kamen die FDM-Verantwortlichen der operativen Ebene und Data Stewards wieder online zusammen.
Vortrag – Daten zur Publikation
Der Einstieg erfolgte über einen Vortrag zum Thema der Sitzung. Es ging vor allem darum, warum und wie man Daten sichern sollte, auf denen eine Publikation beruht. Dafür wurden Beispiele für wissenschaftliches Fehlverhalten angeführt und erklärt, wie man Daten und Publikationen miteinander verlinkt. Read the rest of this entry »
