DKZ.2R: Rhine-Ruhr Data Competence Center – Where Ideas Meet code
In March of this year, we informed you in our article that RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZ Jülich) were involved in the conception phase of the Rhine-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Literacy (DKZ.2R). Today we would like to inform you that the conception phase has been completed and the DKZ.2R has been launched. Data Competence Center DKZ.2R – The IT Center Is Part of It
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the conception and subsequent establishment of data competence centers for science. Working with research data will continue to be a trend in the future, and for this the planned data competence centers are intended to provide relief for scientists by offering support and networking services. Together with Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University is involved in the conception phase of the data competence center “DKZ.2R”.
