Digital ZKI Sping Conference 2021, PPCES, CLAIX Inauguration, IT Center Info Day, IPv6 Training, Visit of the NRW Minister of Finance…. – whether training courses, conferences, information events, anniversaries or larger seminars: The event management team is the first point of contact for colleagues and guests of the IT Center, for example, when it comes to guest management, web presence, preparation and follow-up, and event implementation.
In today’s article, the IT Center event management introduces ifself.
The Marketing & Event Management group (MARIE for short) of the IT Center’s Service & Communication department supports IT Center employees in all areas of external presentation. This also includes the organization of (scientific) events. The main tasks of event management include the systematic planning, organization and implementation of all types of events. A good concept and professional project management as well as established processes are the be-all and end-all in the realization of an event. From the idea to maximum success.
In recent years, event management at the IT Center has become increasingly important. Some events have become established, new formats have proven themselves over time and existing formats have been further developed. Due to the advancing digitalization of the last years, we were allowed to get to know the advantages of digital events in addition to face-to-face events in 2020.
Today, thanks to our experience and expertise of the past years and the constant training in this area, we can flexibly adapt to the needs and requirements of our clients.

Since the information about our events was previously divided among different websites and the number of events has increased, you will find all information about our events, workshops, seminars or anniversaries, which are aimed specifically at employees, teachers and students, but also RWTH external people, on the IT Center Events pages since summer 2021.
