Selfservice Tutorials to Start off the Semester

The new semester has started and as students you have a big to-do list to work through.

As a little support, we have gathered a few Selfservice videos for you in this post today.

In the IdM Selfservice data of the Identity Management are displayed and provided, which serve the authentication and authorization of users.

The Identity Management of the RWTH Aachen University is the central user administration of personal data within the different services of the university.

 

Video 1: Redeem ConnectMe-Coupon

In this video we explain what the ConnectMe procedure is and how students can register in IdM. You can also find step-by-step instructions on IT Center Help: Coupon for students.

You can get an overview of the functions in Selfservice in our latest video on our YouTube channel. Learn what IdM Selfservice is for, what data you can see and what changes you can make.

Video 3: Managing Passwords in Selfservice

In the last video of our trilogy you can see how to assign or manage your passwords for your different accounts, for example RWTH-E-Mail or VPN in Selfservice.
