To manage social media channels efficiently, the IT Center’s marketing team relies on the SocialHub management tool. This allows us to maintain an overview and optimize our online presence. Twice a year, SocialHub invites its customers to its pop-up event.
Not only are new features for the social media management tool presented here, but exciting insights into other companies are also given and interesting guest lectures are held.
This time, the event took place in Munich. Since we already had a great experience at last year’s SocialHub PopUp Event in Cologne, the IT Center was determined to go to Munich!
After all, we couldn’t miss this opportunity to gather new ideas, make exciting contacts and exchange ideas with like-minded people.
Networking and Exciting Presentations

The day was varied and well planned. It kicked off with a networking session in which all participants split up into small groups to get to know each other. Everyone presented their own company and social media presence and gave initial insights into their own strategies and challenges.
This was followed by a guest lecture by the company Onehundred.digital. The focus was on the influence of AI on Google and social media searches and how GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) will play a central role for companies in the future. In today’s world, traditional SEO is no longer enough; instead, GEO is becoming increasingly important. GEO ensures that content is also optimally readable and usable for AI language models. This insight opens up new opportunities to increase the visibility of content in the long term.
New Features and Practical Examples
Wolf presented its social media presence and impressively demonstrated how products that do not appear particularly “attractive” at first glance can be communicated creatively and attractively. As a manufacturer of heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, the social media team has developed imaginative strategies to make content on the individual channels interesting and accessible.
Presentations from the SocialHub team also followed later in the day. New features were presented and an exciting outlook on upcoming developments was given, as well as SocialHub Advocacy. The insights were practical and offered many points of reference for daily work in the social media sector.
There were plenty of breaks between the program items, which were used for an intensive exchange. The atmosphere was open, professional and warm, making it all the easier to network with other participants, share experiences and gain new perspectives. The SocialHub team was also available to answer questions at any time, so that no topics remained unresolved.

Of course, the physical well-being was well taken care of. Whether coffee, snacks or a sumptuous buffet: the catering rounded off the event perfectly.
All in all, the event was once again a complete success for the IT Center. It was not only an opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange ideas, but also to take away valuable inspiration for our own communication. The SocialHub team put on an action-packed day and brought together many different, creative minds.
Many thanks for that!
We look forward to the next time!
