RWTHmoodle Even Better – Improvements in the Summer Semester 2019
With the end of September 2019 the first semester with RWTHmoodle as a university-wide learning platform ended. Though we have already put the system through its paces in three test and pilot phases, the live operation with several tens of thousands of users brings its own challenges and experiences. For the RWTHmoodle team, the go-live was by no means the end of the development of the system and its support structures. Rather, the IT Center and the Center for Teaching and Learning Services, Department of Learning Platform Management (CLS/LPM) used this first semester to adapt the operation, technical development, and support to the needs of the users.

Geänderte Öffnungszeiten am 02.10.2019
On Friday, October 2nd, the IT Center will close at 4 pm at all three locations for personal contact due to an internal event.
But don’t worry, the IT operation is of course guaranteed at all times!

ZKI HERBSTTAGUNG 2019 – IT GOVERNANCE
Beinahe 330 Teilnehmenden trafen sich vom 09.-11. September an der Hochschule Düsseldorf (HSD) zur Herbsttagung des Vereins „Zentren für Kommunikation und Informationsverarbeitung in Lehre und Forschung e.V.“ – kurz ZKI. Als verantwortlicher Organisator bescherte die CAMPUS IT den Besuchenden ein tolles Programm. Sitzungen verschiedener Arbeitskreise, kurzweilige und spannende Vorträge, ausreichende Kommunikationspausen und ein wundervolles Rahmenprogramm trugen zum Gelingen dieser Tagung bei.
Die ZKI Herbsttagung fand vom 09.-11. September in Düsseldorf statt.
