Already making plans for the new year? Then we have something for you: On January 10, 2024, the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration’s (HMC) satellite event for Research Data Day will take place on the topic of “Fundamentals of scientific metadata: why context matters“. Only a few places are still available!
What Can You Expect?
The workshop will use a data set to train different ways of handling and analysing metadata. The main objective is to develop an understanding of the scientific data provided by a colleague or your own data.
At the same time, the aim is to identify how to deal with the challenges involved in fulfilling the data description requirements of one’s own funding organisation so that the data is of lasting value. The aim of the workshop is to support participants in successfully overcoming these challenges both individually and as researchers.
