Publishing Exam Results in RWTHmoodle – This is How it Works!

January 27th, 2020 | by

The end of the lecture period is approaching and the students are deeply immersed in their exam preparations. But also for the lecturers the end of the lectures means a lot of work. Examinations and papers need to be graded and the grades have to be entered in RWTHonline.

Many lecturers ask us in this phase of the semester for a possibility to publish the exam results via RWTHmoodle. With RWTHmoodle it is possible to document and publish the preliminary results of the students’ exams. With the help of the grades module it is possible to enter tables with the corresponding grades of the students as well as the achieved points of individual exam tasks and the total amount of points. Then each student can see his or her own achieved points and grades.

It is important to note that in RWTHmoodle lecturers can only publish the preliminary results. Final exam results must be published in RWTHonline.

In order to avoid uncertainties in this procedure and to inform students about their exam results in RWTHmoodle in a data protection compliant way we have created a corresponding instruction. This instruction guides the lecturers step by step by entering the results and informing the students. In addition you will also find further important information, for example adding students who were not previously authorized in the course room. You can find these instructions on  IT Center Help.

If we have not yet been able to clear up all uncertainties with these instructions or if there is a special need for advice, lecturers and course room supervisors can of course always contact the IT-ServiceDesk. We will support you quickly so that the end of lectures will be a success for students and lecturers alike!

“Diese Anleitung findet Ihr auf IT Center Help.”

Der Link zur Anleitung führt auf “Teilnehmende manuell hinzufügen/entfernen”. Dort findet sich nichts über das Hochladen von Prüfungsergebnissen!
