Reopening of the IT-ServiceDesk – Personal Support

Only with an appointment and in compliance with the hygiene measures!

From Tuesday, 20.10.2020, it will again be possible to take advantage of the personal support of the IT-ServiceDesk. The prerequisite for this is an appointment and, of course, compliance with the hygiene measures for protection and containment of the corona virus. All information about the special circumstances, the booking of appointments and the updated range of services can be found in this blog post.

From Tuesday, 20.10.2020, we will again be on site for you in personal support.

Personal support at the IT-ServiceDesk, Seffenter Weg 23

On Tuesday, 20.10.2020, the IT-ServiceDesk will initially open its location at Seffenter Weg 23 in the IT Center’s service building. Appointments for personal consultation hours are available from Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 02:30pm.

Booking of appointments is obligatory, as you will only be admitted to the IT Center if you have booked an appointment. The booking of the appointments serves mainly for traceability in case of infections as well as to control the crowd.

It is not only important to us to help you, but also to protect each other.

For this reason, we also insist on a 2m distance as well as the wearing of mouth-nose-coverings. In addition, you will also find a disinfectant dispenser in front of the Front Office Desk (IT-ServiceDesk) so that you have the opportunity to disinfect your hands. Please take advantage of this offer.

Range of services and dates

You can book your appointments according to your needs and find personal support at the IT-ServiceDesk at Seffenter Weg 23. Due to the current regulations for the containment of the Covid-19 virus, we are unfortunately not able to offer the full range of services that you may already know from the time before Corona. In concrete terms, this means that no installations or configurations on your mobile devices can be carried out by our employees.

However, we are happy to help you with passwords, ConnectMe coupon codes, certificates and the like.

We keep each other up to date

If you feel ill or have had a potential risk encounter with a positive tested person, we ask you to cancel your booked appointment and book a new one.

In many cases we can also support you by phone, chat or e-mail. This has already worked very well in the last months. This also applies to the support for example for software installations or the setup of eduroam or VPN.

We ask for your understanding that due to the current situation, we can only provide limited personal support and the current information is subject to change. Should there be any changes, we will of course inform you via our social media channels.
