Of course we are talking about our SysAdmins. Once a year we can celebrate their day of honor and give a heartfelt thank you to all our system administrators.
The “System Administrator Appreciation Day” always takes place on the last Friday in July. This ensures that we also remember the hardworking people behind the scenes who – invisibly – fix all IT problems. Without the SysAdmins, the RWTH and the IT Center would be pretty much left out in the cold when it comes to functioning computers, virus defense, e-mail, printer problems, website accessibility, data backups, network configurations, or Internet accessibility.
The SysAdmins keep the central IT systems and networks of RWTH Aachen University running. Long story short – We can see you, dear SysAdmins!
That’s exactly why we want to wish you a great “System Administrator Appreciation Day” with everything that is essential for a festive celebration and just shout out “THANK YOU SO MUCH”!
