Is the order of your affiliations in RWTHcontacts incorrect? Or is your primary organization not listed correctly?
Since May 26, 2025, you can easily change some of your data yourself.
Don’t worry, you can now access part of the person directory (PVZ) even without the “Administration Organization” role!

SelfCare – The New Area

Previously, the PVZ could only be managed by people with the “Organization administration” role. Now it is also possible to use your own SelfCare area without this role!

In the SelfCare area, you can now change the order of your affiliations and select your primary organization yourself.

Under “About me” you can see your profile picture, name and PVZ ID. A link will take you quickly to the PictureManager, where you can upload a new profile picture.

In the menu item “My Organization Memberships” you will find the organizations you belong to. These are also displayed in RWTHcontacts, for example.

How To Use

When starting the person directory, people with the role “Administration organization” have the option to choose between managing their organizations or their own data. All other users are automatically redirected to the SelfCare area.

Authorization

All persons with at least one organizational affiliation are authorized to access the SelfCare area.
They log in with their own user name using the RWTH Single Sign-On. Persons with the role “Administration Organization” can still use the existing list of persons.
