The IT Center wishes all readers a happy new year! Just as you, dear reader, have probably been thinking about good resolutions that you want to try to realise in 2025, we have also made some plans for 2025: Together with you, we want to implement exciting projects, drive forward digital innovations and make IT services even more user-friendly.
Changed Opening Hours Over Christmas and New Year

As another year draws to a close, the IT Center wishes all students, staff and partners a relaxing festive season and a successful start to the new year.
We are adjusting our opening hours slightly between Christmas and the beginning of the new year and have listed the changes for you in this article.
New Year’s Resolutions for More IT Security

For many, it’s part of the New Year’s ritual: New Year’s resolutions! According to Statista, the top three resolutions in Germany this year include saving more money, doing more sport, and eating more healthily. 17% of respondents even said they wanted to spend less time on social networks. When using social media, however, it is also important to make the user experience itself as secure as possible.
