Changed Opening Hours During Christmas and New Year

The year 2022 is slowly coming to an end and the big holidays are just around the corner. For this reason, the IT Center has adjusted its opening hours for the period between Christmas and the beginning of January.

You can reach the IT-ServiceDesk in the period December 27, 2022, to January 6, 2023 in the following ways:

  • By phone: From 8am to 4 pm via the usual number +49 241 80 24680.
  • Via chat: From 8am to 4pm via the “Chat Support” button. You can find it on the IT Center website, in the documentation portal IT Center Help, on RWTHmoodle or in the RWTHApp (Facilities -> IT-ServiceDesk).
  • By e-mail: In addition, you can of course reach us at any time by e-mail at servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de.
  • In person: For inquiries and to submit DFN certificate applications, you can reach us on site from 8am to 12 noon.

Instructions on how to use and install our services can be found on IT Center Help.

The SuperC, the Laptop-Rental-Pool and the Print Service will be closed during the entire period.

The infoPoint will be open from 8am to 4pm as usual.

You can reach the MATSE administration by phone and e-mail from December 27, 2022 to December 30, 2022.

Please note that the VR Lab will close December 19, 2022 already and will remain closed until and including January 6, 2023.

As of Monday, January 9, 2023, the IT Center will be open again at the usual opening hours.
