Large-scale microphone arrays allow for a detailed analysis of room acoustics and the
identification of individual sound waves as they move about the room. Although these
data help us to track reflections in the room, the massive amount of data in very large
arrays requires new analysis strategies. This thesis extends current source localization
and geometric reconstruction techniques to larger-scale microphone arrays. I show
that these measurements can be used to identify major boundaries of a hall and
have potential for providing a deeper understanding of the geometric origins of room
acoustic phenomena.
