Recently, our post on the second Research Data Day (TdF) on November 15, 2022 in NRW was published. In order to get more orientation in the data sea, various events on research data management (RDM) will take place throughout the state on this day. Find out what to expect specifically at RWTH Aachen University in this blog post.

An Overview

Research Data Day is fast approaching, kicking off with a joint NRW-wide morning program organized by the State Initiative for Research Data Management (fdm.nrw). The event will take place virtually via Zoom. The site-specific afternoon program at RWTH has now also received its final polish.

From 1pm to 2pm, the digital event „Coscine – FAIR im Datenmeer“ awaits you with an RWTH-independent demonstration of the RDM platform. Researchers as well as RDM stakeholders from NRW and beyond can register here.

Starting at 2pm, the virtual special event for the open network meeting “„FDM-Kompass – das RWTH-Schiff auf NFDI-Kurs“” is aimed specifically at RDM stakeholders, RDM-active and RDM-interested parties at RWTH. You can expect a concrete insight into the contributions of the RWTH within the framework of the numerous NFDI consortia as well as the cross-consortia exchange on RDM at the RWTH.
