The Program Is Fixed! TdF 2023 in Aachen
In our last article about the Research Data Day (TdF) 2023 in NRW, we informed you extensively about this day of action for research data management and launched a call for poster contributions for the joint afternoon program of RWTH and Forschungszentrum Jülich. The posters are an essential part of the networking event and will be presented after our diverse lecture program. In this post, we would now like to present in detail the program flow for the event “From Data to Diamonds – Empowering Research with AI and RDM” on Research Data Day.
Follow-up Report on the Open Meeting of the RDM Network on January 11, 2023
On January 11, 2023, the data stewards, RDM officers and RDM interested parties at RWTH Aachen University met for the first time in the new year for the regular Open Meeting of the RDM Network online via Zoom. The focus this time was on the two RDM instruments DataLad and the GIN-Tonic tool.

On October 12, 2022, the data stewards, RDM officers and RDM interested parties at RWTH Aachen University met again for the regular Open Meeting of the RDM Network online via Zoom. The theme of the event this time was FAIR in Science.
Research Data Day on November 15, 2022
On November 15, 2022 the Research Data Day in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) will be held for the second time. This time, the motto of the event is “Lighthouse RDM: Orientation in the data sea“.
On this day, events on research data management (RDM) will be held throughout NRW and various universities will present their RDM offerings. The complete programme can be found on the website of the State Initiative for Research Data Management – fdm.nrw.
Arbeitsmaterialien zum Workshop beim NFDI4Ing Community Meeting veröffentlicht
Wie bereits auf dem Blog angekündigt, hat am 30.11.2020 und 01.12.2020 das NFDI4Ing Community Meeting stattgefunden.
Thematisch ging es um den Stand und die Zukunft des Forschungsdatenmanagements (FDM) in den Ingenieurswissenschaften. Gastgeberin war die TU Darmstadt mit dem Institut für Systemfluidtechnik. Das Programm bestand aus Workshops und Vorträgen u.a. von Herrn Prof. Dr. Schmitt, Best-Practise-Beispielen von Herrn Dr. Politze und Input zum Thema Datenkompetenz von Herrn Dr. Bossert.
