The PPCES 2022 is about to start!
Again this year, the one-week (March 21-25, 2022) HPC seminar will take place at the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University to train you on the latest developments around parallel programming on the RWTH high performance computer.
Registration deadline is already March 18 – be there!
This one-week online event continues the tradition of the previous annual one-week events held in Aachen every spring since 2001.
We will cover the basics of parallel programming with OpenMP and MPI in Fortran and C/C++ and a first step towards performance tuning as well as current topics in AI/machine learning.
The 5 days of the event are divided into exciting thematic blocks, with the first part of each topic providing basic information, which is then further specified in subsequent segments and consolidated with practical exercises.
The lectures, held in English, are general in nature, but will be specifically focused on CLAIX, the compute cluster currently installed at the IT Center.
In preparation for this event, the information from the past HPC introduction on March 04 will help you. This is especially true if you plan to actively use CLAIX after this event.
The PPCES is aimed at beginners as well as experts in these topics and is open to internal as well as external participants.
As usual, you can find the planned agenda and information on the individual topics on our event pages.
You can register for the free event on our website.
Please note that the registration deadline is already March 18.
So be quick and secure one of the popular virtual seats at PPCES this year!
