This year, the IT Center, as the data center of a renowned Rhineland university, is also taking inspiration from the cheerful atmosphere of the fifth season. The carnival season is approaching and brings with it some changes to our opening hours. Here you can get an overview of our opening hours during carnival.
IT-ServiceDesk
On Fettdonnerstag, February 27, 2025, the IT-ServiceDesk at our office at SuperC and the printing service of the IT Center will be closed.
The IT-ServiceDesk will be available, for personal assistance, during limited opening hours from 8am to 12 noon at the location Seffenter Weg 23. Until 4pm the IT-ServiceDesk can be contacted as follows:

- Via chat: using the “Chat Support” button. You can find this button in the IT Center website, our documentation portal IT Center Help and on RWTHmoodle.
- Via e-mail: at servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de
On Friday February 28, 2025, the IT-ServiceDesk will be happy to assist you again at the usual opening hours.

InfoPoint and General Accessibility
On Thursday, February 27, 2025, the infoPoint in the Seffenter Weg 23 office building will be staffed until 12 noon. From this time onwards, all office buildings will be closed for public business.
If you need to enter an IT Center building outside of the above-mentioned opening hours due to an appointment, please get in touch with your local contact person in good time.
Please note that all office buildings will be completely closed on Rosenmontag, March 3, 2025.
From Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the IT-ServiceDesk and the office buildings will be available again during regular opening hours.
