Who can use the printing service?
Please note that our printing service is only available to authorized users at RWTH institutions.
How to access the printing service portal:
To access our user-friendly printing service portal, you need the “IT Center Print Service” role. You can easily request this via your institution’s role management system. For more information, visit IT Center Help at: Printing Service Portal.
Wide range of materials for every need
Choosing the right paper is crucial for the quality and impact of your printing projects. Each type of paper offers specific properties tailored to different needs. We offer the following high-quality paper types:
- Matt (170g/m²): does not reflect – Ideal for direct light exposure and for writing on after printing.
- Semi-glossy (200 g/m²): reflects – Perfect for indoor applications with photo paper-like quality.
- Glossy (200 g/m²): reflects – Glossy photo paper for sharp contours and vivid colors.
- Tarpaulin (235 g/m²): does not reflect – foldable and suitable for travel—ideal for on the go!
Flexible size options
Design your poster in custom sizes – up to a maximum of 50″/1270 mm x 2700 mm! The minimum size starts at A2. For smaller prints, please contact the RWTH Print Services.
Price transparency guaranteed
Prices are displayed directly in the printing service portal and are calculated proportionally to the price of an A0 poster (1m²):
- Matt: 21€/m²
- Semi-Glossy: 26€/m²
- Glossy: 26€/m²
- Tarpaulin: 35€/m²
Simple billing
Billing is straightforward and automatic after receipt of the transfer confirmation – no purchase requisition or comparative offers required!

Your order is usually ready for pickup the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is complete.

After the challenges of recent years, we are pleased to announce that we are back to serving you Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm as of April 1, 2025! In response to numerous customer requests, we have extended our opening hours to offer you shorter waiting times and better service.
