The RWTHmoodle service is indispensable in everyday study life, both for students and lecturers. It is therefore particularly important for all those involved to ensure suitable access to detailed documentation.

With this in mind, our RWTHmoodle help has been comprehensively revised. Due to the large number of available instructions, it was often difficult in the past to quickly find the right documentation. To simplify this, we have developed a clearly structured and more user-friendly navigation that provides easy and targeted access to the desired Moodle help.

What is New?

As part of the restructuring, lecturers and students now have easy-to-navigate entry and topic pages with interactive buttons.

For lecturers:

  • Topic overview: A clearly structured and thematically organized overview of all important RWTHmoodle topics from A to Z.
  • Moodle ToolGuide: A structured guide that divides all activities into 12 thematic areas and helps you to find the right Moodle tool for your course.
  • Thematically focused pages that compare Moodle activities for similar purposes and application scenarios and present their advantages and disadvantages in clear tables. The thematically focused pages can be accessed via the Moodle Tour Guide.

There is now direct access for everyone via RWTHmoodle: The new thematic overview pages are accessible directly from RWTHmoodle! A newly added “Help & News” tab in the RWTHmoodle navigation bar provides access to this and other support services for using RWTHmoodle.
