The time will soon come again: the next open meeting of the RDM network will take place online via Zoom on April 13, 2022. This time, RDM managers and data stewards can look forward to two topics. The next meeting will focus on a presentation of the KNIME software and an introduction to dependency analysis of research data at the IoP using GitLab.
Have you heard about the software “KNIME“? The “Konstanz Information Miner” (KNIME) is a free software for interactive data analysis. KNIME enables the integration of numerous machine learning and data mining methods through its modular pipelining concept. In addition, large amounts of data can be analysed with the software. Developed at the University of Konstanz in 2004, the first version was released about two years later. A presentation and first introduction to the software will be given by the speaker Mahantesh Pattadkal at the network meeting.
This will be followed by the postponed talk “Dependency analysis of research data at the IoP using GitLab” by Steffen Hillemacher from RWTH Aachen University.
Be curious about the two timely contributions.
