Are you interested in making your research data visible and reusable? Would you like to find out how best to proceed and whether your research data is suitable for this? Then you are cordially invited to take part in the online workshop “FAIR data through publication” on September 18, 2024.

 

 

 

In-Depth Module on Research Data Management

The online workshop “FAIR data through publication” is part of a series of regularly offered in-depth modules on research data management (RDM II modular) and focuses on the publication of research data as an important result in the research process. All in-depth modules build on the Moodle course “Reserach Data Management – an Overview (RDM I – online)”, which covers the basics of RDM at RWTH Aachen University.

 

What Can You expect?

  • Motivation for data publication
  • Persistent identifiers (DOI, ORCID) and other aspects of FAIR data
  • Selection of research data worthy of publication (selection)
  • Publication channels and finding a suitable repository
  • Preparation of the data in a user-friendly form
  • Publication process at RWTH Publications

 

Key Dates and Registration

The online workshop will take place on September 18, 2024 from 10am to 12 noon. You will receive the access link to the event by email at least three days before the start.
