As the data center of a Rhenish university rich in tradition, the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University also enjoys the fifth season.
Therefore, there will be changes in the opening hours of the IT ServiceDesk over the carnival days:
On Thursday, or also known as Weiberfastnacht, February 16, 2023, the offices in the SuperC and in the service building Seffenter Weg 23 will be closed.
For this reason, the following services will not be available on this day:
- The personal support,
- the Laptop-Rental-Pool,
- the collection of fIT-certification as well as
- the submission of DFN certificates.
In addition, the IT-ServiceDesk will only be available to you during limited opening hours from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
During this time you can contact the IT-ServiceDesk as follows:
- By phone: at +49 241 80 24680,
- by mail: via servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de and/or
- by chat: via the “Chat Support” button. You can find this button at the bottom right of the IT Center website, in the IT Center Help documentation portal, on RWTHmoodle or in the RWTHApp (Facilities -> IT-ServiceDesk).
On Friday, February 17, 2023, you can contact the IT Service Desk again at the usual opening hours.
On Monday, February 20, 2023, the entire IT Center – as well as RWTH Aachen University – will be closed.
From Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the IT-ServiceDesk will be open again at the regular opening hours.
