Hey Students! RWTHgpt is Now Available for You

As of July 16, 2024, RWTH Aachen University is offering the new RWTHgpt service. The service is operated by the IT Center and the Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CLS). Until now, RWTHgpt was only available to employees of the authorized institutions. After the successful completion of the introductory phase, access is now also available to students of RWTH Aachen University. In this article, we will inform you about the most important changes.

The Digital Submission of Theses Is Here!

After reporting on the pilot of “Submission of Final Theses” (DivA) in May last year, we can now announce that the application is now available at RWTH Aachen. After extensive testing and many improvements in the extended pilot phase, we can now ensure that everything runs smoothly at the end of the degree programme.

Moodle-Templates: Didactical Course Design

It is therefore not surprising that in our last RWTHmoodle user survey in the summer semester, more than two thirds of lecturers expressed great interest in course templates. Email Security – Evaluation and Application of the SPF Policy

In this post of our email security series, we would like to inform you about an upcoming tightening of the SPF policy that will apply to RWTH Aachen University as of December 5, 2024. The change will prevent RWTH email addresses from being used as sender addresses by mail servers outside of RWTH Aachen University in the future. This will further increase email security at our university. Please note that this article is mainly intended for mail administrators of RWTH institutions. (*)
