Dynamic sitting at work is an important tool that can help us promote our back health and prevent problems.
When sitting dynamically, we should make sure to constantly shift our weight and change our sitting position. Therefore, if we constantly adopt different sitting positions, we will improve our spinal support muscles on the one hand, and on the other hand, the movement will provide our intervertebral discs with nutrients. Thus, we have the opportunity to prevent unnecessary back pain. At the same time, we can avoid muscular imbalances that occur when muscles atrophy, weaken and ultimately shorten due to one-sided strain.

After sneaking into a network, attackers can remain undetected for months, collecting data, searching for sensitive material, or acquiring credentials. They can then use this information to roam around the IT infrastructure, to observe it and to snatch even more data. The more data is tapped, the more severe the consequences of the attack may be. To identify such attacks as early as possible, a good defence strategy is essential. An important part of such a strategy is so-called Threat Hunting. Read the rest of this entry »

These access points broadcast one or more SSID’s, which the devices can connect with and thus get internet access. The term SSID stands for Service Set Identifier and is simply the name of a WLAN network. RWTH offers many SSID’s such as:
- eduroam for students, employees and guests of participating institutes
- RWTH-guests for quests without an eduroam identification
- RWTH-devices for IoT devices, e.g. measuring instruments and sensors
