Coscine gives you the opportunity to store your research data using various resources. From next year, there will be a fundamental change: The new DataStorage.nrw will replace the previous Research Data Storage (RDS).

According to the FAIR principles, research data should be easy to find (Findable), accessible (Accessible), interoperable (Interoperable) and reusable (Reusable). This is exactly where Coscine (Collaborative Scientific Integration Environment) comes in – a platform that supports researchers throughout the data lifecycle.

Participation in the Conception Phase of the DKZ.2R

Together with the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), the IT Center is participating in the conception phase of the Data Competence Center for the Rhine-Ruhr region, DKZ.2R for short. 22 projects were selected by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) from a total of 74 applications to participate in the conception phase.
