Be it the fear of disguised, made-up figures or even the worry that your sensitive data will fall into the hands of unauthorized persons. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that October of all months is IT Security Month? IDM.nrw is a project of the Digital University NRW. The aim is to lighten the effort for universities to access and provide services to each other throughout NRW.
Renaming: RWTH Service and L²P Get a New Name

The IT Center has two account renamings for two services to announce! As of March 23, 2023, the account “RWTH Service” will be renamed “RWTH-E-Mail” and the account ” L²P” will be renamed “RWTH Collaboration”. What the name changes mean for you and what the background for the renaming is, you can find out in this blog post! (*)

About IT Module 2022

As the university’s central service provider, the IT Center is responsible for information technology and university-wide IT supply at RWTH Aachen University. In between the digital management of studies, RWTH employees such as trainees also depend on the digital services provided by the IT Center. For work in the office and from home, prerequisites must be met to ensure trouble-free communication and work.
To meet these requirements and also to make it easier for new incomers to get started with the IT Center’s digital offerings, the “About IT Module” was launched in 2015 in cooperation with the Berufsausbildungszentrum (BAZ).
