The highlight of the carnival season – Fat Thursday or Weiberfastnacht – was also duly heralded at the IT Center. Many look forward to this day all year round and on February 8, 2024, it finally happened!

On this day, the IT Center’s employees met in their most colorful costumes in the foyer of the IT-ServiceDesk at Seffenter Weg 23 to celebrate the fifth season. From 10:30 am, the departments arrived one by one and the carnival party could get started!

Before the IT Center carnival party could get started, the party team took care of the set-up and the excellent carnival decorations. After everything was decorated and the first carnival songs were played, the carnival enthusiasts gradually arrived so that the party could get off to a great start.

Of course, suitable catering was also provided. The employees put together a great mix of carnival pastries, sweet and savory snacks and hot dogs, so there was something for each taste.

In keeping with tradition, the polonaise through the IT Center was not to be missed. The route led across several floors to the management office of Daniel Bündgens, whose tie was the actual destination of the journey. This was cut off in a short process.

But the festivity didn’t end there, as some people continued on to the Penn-Zelt on the Katschhof. The party continued there with other carnival enthusiasts until late into the evening.

All in all, it was another successful carnival celebration.

Of course we like to thank the party team for all their hard work and all the helping hands who contributed to this successful day.

We look forward to next year!
