We kindly present: The website for this year’s workshop “Data Stewardship goes Germany”, DSgG for short, is online. There you will find everything you need to know about this year’s DSgG. The event will take place on September 11 and 12, 2024 at RWTH Aachen University and is aimed at data stewards, data experts, data curators, data managers, research software engineers and anyone interested in research data management (RDM). We are celebrating the launch of the Rhine-Ruhr Center for Scientific Data Literacy (DKZ.2R)! The overarching goal of the Rhine-Ruhr Data Competence Center is to offer researchers a space to support their projects and build methodological expertise in data science, high performance computing (HPC), research data management (RDM) and machine learning.

Eight NFDI consortia with RWTH participation are funded by the DFG!

We celebrate the approval of funding for eight consortia with RWTH participation!
As recently announced by the Joint Science Conference (GWK), a total of ten consortia will be funded. Eight of them have RWTH participation. The funding decision was science-led by the GWK.
FAIR Data Spaces – Establishing a shared cloud-based data space for business and science

Together with the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) e.V., Atos Information Technology GmbH and with various NFDI consortia, the cloud-based data space “FAIR Data Space” for business and science is being created and built.
