Reopening of the IT-ServiceDesk at SuperC and the Printing Service at Seffenter Weg 23

Soon back on site for you! The IT-ServiceDesk in SuperC and the printing service in Seffenter Weg 23 will open for personal contact.

May 02, 2022 is the day: The IT Center’s IT-ServiceDesk takes a big step toward normality. Both the SuperC support location and the printing service will reopen for personal contact. While the opening is subject to the appropriate conditions and hygiene measures for your and our protection and to counter the spread of the Corona pandemic, it will finally be possible to print posters, posters and co. at the IT Center, Seffenter Weg 23, and pick them up in person again starting next Monday, May 02, 2022. Consultation at the IT-ServiceDesk in the SuperC will also resume. Please note tha we are also part of the RWTH initiative “We keep wearing masks”.

IT-ServiceDesk in the SuperC

The IT-ServiceDesk in the SuperC will again support you with your questions about our IT services starting May 02, 2022. Feel free to come by for a consultation. Our ServiceDesk at Templergraben 57 will be open at the following times:

Monday: 7:30 – 12:00
Tuesday: 7:30 – 12:00
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: 12:00 – 16:00
Friday: 7:30 – 12:00

There will be limited device support for you at the SuperC site. For example, setting up Eduroam will be possible again. The support will be contactless if possible or we will accept the disinfected device. Larger support requests such as software installations, however, will unfortunately not yet be handled on site.

We would also like to point out that currently the Meeting Point Mobile Devices (TreMoGe) is not offered at any other IT ServiceDesk location. You can still get help with setting up and using the IT services of the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University on mobile devices via our various communication channels:

Printing service at Seffenter Weg 23

The printing service will open its doors for you again. Our printing service offers you the possibility to order large posters, technical drawings or banners from May 02, 2022. The printing service can currently only be used by employees of institutes, chairs, affiliated institutes and student organizations of RWTH Aachen University and the University Hospital.

To be able to print a poster via the print service, a user ID must first be requested. This ID card will be used for later billing. So if you are interested, just get in touch with us!

Pick-up is possible on site at Seffenter Weg 23 on the following days:

Monday: 8:45 – 13:15
Tuesday: 8:45 – 16:00
Wednesday: 8:45 – 13:15

Please remember to bring your user ID when you pick up your appointment. (*)


What else do you need to keep in mind?

Please remember to pick up your printed materials only when you feel healthy. As already announced by RWTH Aachen University, the IT Center also recommends wearing a mouth-nose covering. Furthermore, you have the possibility to use the disinfection dispensers at many places in the IT Center and SuperC. (*)

Please take advantage of this offer to protect yourself and others.

In addition, we will refrain from using customs such as shaking hands and other physical contact and emphasize the importance of maintaining a minimum distance of 2 meters. In return, you will receive our best smile, which will reach you even beyond the mouth-nose coverage.
